During the 2009 Christmas season, 1 out of every 2 consumers reported doing the majority of their holiday purchases from websites. According to a Wall Street Journal article, "62% of consumers say they spend at least 30 minutes online every week to help them decide what and whether to buy. Among Americans under 45, that number shoots up to 73%." *
